The Plaszow camp started as a concentration camp . It also was a work camp. The camp was for Jews. The camp had about 25 acres that was a cemetery. The camp was inside a barbed-wired fence.


Wieliczka Salt Mine


The Wieliczka Salt Mine was built in Poland. The Mine was 1,087 feet deep and 187 miles length wise. It is the oldest mine and the biggest mine. Both the Jews and some Poland people worked in the mine. It was a very dark place.

Trzebinia


The Trzebinia had a barbed-wired fence around it. It is in Poland. This camp was built in 1944. The people who were here had to work really hard. For example, they had to work with sewage, work on fountains, even work with railroad tracks, etc.
